ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Josh Gibson is the founder, owner, and lead designer of Giant Step Design Co., a creative studio specializing in vintage-inspired apparel and commemorative artwork that celebrates the great outdoors. With more than two decades of professional graphic art experience, he combines timeless design with a passion for conservation, outdoor culture, and storytelling through original art.

Before launching Giant Step Design Co., he worked extensively in the outdoors with organizations such as The Nature Conservancy, the National Park Service, and the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, experiences that continue to inform his design perspective.

He approaches every project with the goal of creating work that is both beautiful and unpretentious—design that resonates with audiences while celebrating and promoting the protection of remarkable natural places. A lifelong outdoor lover and traveler, Josh draws inspiration from exploring some of our planet's most breathtaking landscapes. He lives with his wife and three children on their family farm in Franklin County, Virginia, just outside Roanoke.
